Free back to school haircuts for kids K-12 offered by Chavez Beauty School

No appointments, first come first serve. All kids must comein with washed, clean hair for a free haircut. All haircuts performced by out students under supervision of instructors.

Dear Parents of Stevens Kindergarten Students,

Thank you for choosing Stevens Elementary School to begin your child’s journey into school. We are excited to meet all our new kindergartners and to get this year started!

To help create the most balanced kindergarten classes, we will implement a “soft start” during the first two weeks of school. This approach allows for flexibility in class assignments before final rosters are established. During the soft start, your child will have the opportunity to work with all of the kindergarten teachers in one-on-one, small group, and whole-class settings

Through guided academic and social-emotional lessons, students and teachers will get to know one another. During this time, any necessary classroom assignment changes will be made to ensure well-balanced classes for the year.

Registration in the Spring helps ensure that teachers are ready for all students in the fall

Students must be 5-years-old on or before Aug. 31, 2025

Use the NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION page at www.asd5.org and select your neighborhood school.

  • Proof of Age
  • Immunization Records
  • Emergency Contact Information
  • Proof of Address (Utility bill, cable bill, lease agreement)

Registration from in-district residence only. Out-of-district requests are not being considered at this time.

Open to children in the Aberdeen School District. Eligibility requirements apply.

Come meet your teacher and new principal!  We are so excited for school to start!  Join us in the cafeteria at 5:00 pm for a brief introduction and some important news!  After you see your classroom and meet your teacher …We have ICE CREAM outside in the bus zone!  Enjoy your last few days of summer and we will see you soon Huskies!!

9:25AM - 3:25PM - Gates open at 9:10am!

Please do not bring students before 9:10 am - there is NO supervision!

Preschool Hours

AM Class: 9:00am - 12:00pm
PM Class: 12:45pm - 3:45pm

After School Program will begin on September 30th
